Surrey Search & Rescue

Surrey Search & Rescue is a 100% voluntary specialist search team which helps the emergency services find missing vulnerable adults and children.

We are on-call 24 hours a day, with a team of 50+ people and 8 Search Dogs to respond across Surrey and surrounding areas. We are trained to find and give first aid to anyone who is reported missing or lost and evacuate them to safety.

Over 2100 people go missing in Surrey every year. Even if a callout comes at 3am we aim to respond as quickly as possible and minimise the time that the missing person is trapped outdoors.

We do not get any funding from the government, the police or the council. We are a charity which relies wholly on donations to purchase and maintain vital lifesaving equipment, and continue to offer the best training to our team. There are many ways you can help by donating your time, purchasing from our store or our partners, making a donation or joining the team.
